Overview

The client received a Payless Notice giving a payment of just over £8,000.00, which it disputed, and we were instructed to provide quantum and management of a true valuation claim for variations and loss & expense for delay and disruption to include extension of time.

Claim Quantum

We established the material facts and applied the terms of the contract and relevant legal principles to arrive at quantum for the additional time and payment to be claimed as the true valuation of the works.

Dispute Management

We submitted the claim documents to the other party and then started an Adjudication to procure a decision on the true value and proper payment due to our client.

Dispute Resolution

The Referral Claim was submitted following which the parties held settlement discussions and our client agreed an amicable settlement payment of over £400,000, thereby ending the Adjudication early by agreement.
